Brogan is a big guy, but still has that refined quality one finds from time to time in high quality alpacas.
20 pounds at birth, 60 pounds at 3 months, he is an independent young male who quickly established his place among his age mates. We watched this guy closely, given his excellent genetic background and promising fiber stats. The fiber quality is there, but Brogan is a little high in the back hip, and so can't contribute the flawless conformation needed for a top notch herdsire. We are offering him as a superior fiber male, or as a pet for a hobby farm's small alpaca herd. What a great 4-H animal he would make as well!
