Fortune is a lovely light brown animal with a deep and impressive pedigree. She was shown only twice in major shows, and both times placed second in her class. She was bred last Spring and confirmed pregnant by ultrasound at 70 days, but a recent ultrasound shows her open again. SO..., we will swallow our disappointment and try again.
Fortune, alas, ate with the pregnant dams for a good bit of the year, and her fiber stats show a big bump in micron. At three years it is possible it is genetics based, but we will await 2010 shearing for comparisons.
Fortune is now bred to Snowmass Royal Accent. We await a spring cria in early June, 2010!
